OUR STORY
When Jeffrey and Mark say "I DO," on the 3rd of December this year they will have been celebrating their relationship for going on 18 years. Many people thought for the longest time they were already married.
Jeffrey and Mark Met in the latter part of 1998, in New Orleans. And, ever since they met things were never the same for either of them, their friends, their families, the countless children in their lives, and even their collegues! Things were better, more wonderful, more dynamic and more meanigful.
Through lifes triumphs and tragedies Jeffrey and Mark have never lost a beat. They have in fact fallen more in love with the people who surround them, their lust for life and each other.
So, in August of last year, after asking Mark's Children for permission and gaining the blessing of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ory, Jeffrey proposed on the secluded Island of Bequai in the Grenadine Islands. The rest is and will be History as of December 3rd this year, and they can't wait to celebrate with you!

9:30 pm Stroll from Fulton Alley to Harrah's New Orleans through the "Miracle on Fulton Street," that transforms the Fulton Street pedestrian corridor into a winter wonderland.
10:00 pm - until Masquerade Lounge at Harrah's New Orleans (228 Poydras Street)

Parking: discounted parking (2 hours for $4, 4 hours for $8) in the garage at 501 Convention Center and the 601 Convention Center garage. Bring your parking ticket to Fulton Alley for validation.
Please note that Fulton Alley is open to those 21 years of age or older after 8 pm.

This gathering will allow everyone to get to know one another and celebrate the holiday season in festive New Orleans style.

Fulton Alley is a classy & sleek entertainment venue where bowling lanes meet Southern-American-influenced fare & cocktails. First cocktail and light hors d'oeuvres provided...bowling expected!

Masquerade Lounge is in the heart of Harrah's New Orleans Join us for a drink at Masquerade’s Ice bar. Dance to the beat of the top DJ's in the nation. Or on the other hand, play while you party with slots, blackjack and other exciting table games right inside Masquerade!

We have selected several Hotels for your convenience. Simply tell them when making the reservation that you are with the FRANCISORY Wedding party! Our Metairie Hotel choices are closer to the airport, but will require a rental car or taxi to the Friday French Quarter party and the Saturday Wedding Celebration.

Transportation
Traveling to Popp Fountain in City Park from the French Quarter or Downtown New Orleans, allow 20 - 25 minutes for traffic and parking at the event.
From Metairie, allow 15-20 minutes to arrive and park comfortably. We NEED everyone there by 6:30pm Sharp!

Earlier this year, after much planning had already gone into this incredible celebration, Mark and Jeffrey learned that they needed to replace their entire piping system throughout both bathrooms in their home. This project will be extensive, costly and a BIG "DEAL!"
So, in lieu of gifts that cannot offer a hot shower and a shave, the couple kindly asks that you contribute to their ROYAL "FLUSH" FUND! Of course the couple does not encourage or expect any gift at all EXCEPT your presence at their celebration, but we know many of you want to do a bit more! We are so very excited to welcome you to our beautiful and amazing city of New Orleans. There is nothing like it on the planet and it is such an honor to call this city home! As you have probably realized by now our special day is surrounded by some significant Holidays! We know that this time of year can be extremely stressful for families and travel etc. We also know that anything like this can be very expensive and difficult. So, it is because of these reasons that we kindly ask you the following...

If you have recieved a SAVE THE DATE for our celebration, you will also be recieving a formal invite in the near future. This will allow you a little more time to think about travel plans and if this is going to work for you and your family. We kindly and graciously ask if you would share with us the likelihood of you attending our Wedding at this particuliar point in time. This way we can continue the planning process and be able to work through our game plan accordingly. Again, you will still recieve a FORMAL INVITE even if you decline now, but, it will make the planning process so much more seamless and accurate for us!
